Week 39, 2017

9/28/17 - The Fun Boys // SPISH // Jack Stauber // Hexgirlfriends

Thursday brought Pittsburgh indie rockers SPISH and experimental solo artist Jack Stauber down to the pizza basement for a night of bizarre and awesome synth-powered jams. They were joined by the always awesome Hexgirlfriends as well as the spastic punkers The Fun Boys from Frederick. It was a pretty killer show, but the real mystery is that at some point someone broke the bathroom mirror with a hammer... Seriously, who does that?

9/29/17 - LANNDS // Faceless Ones // Little Lungs // Liberata

Friday kicked off with pop jazz quartet Liberata and their excellent vocal harmonies and guitar work, followed by Faceless Ones from Frederick who brought out some really chill electro pop. Jacksonville's LAANDS hit the stage next with an incredible set of lush and dynamic indie pop, and Baltimore's Little Lungs returned to close the show with some loud n' proud rock n roll.

10/01/17 - Eze Jackson & Wendel Patrick // Secret Guest // Which Magic

Low Key Sunday kicked off with the dreamy folk-pop of Which Magic, followed by Charleston's Secret Guest and their take on indie psyche-noise. Eze Jackson and Wendel Patrick made a reunion of sorts to close the show together, providing a killer set of hip-hop, at one point bringing up other members of the Baltimore Boom Bap Society to freestyle with them.
